Sunday, 6/11/11 in San Marino's Lacy Park, the inaugural San Marino Motor Classic drew hundreds of the finest cars and a huge crowd of admiring car people.
The event benefitted the Pasadena Humane Society.

Here, The Auld Jag is being rigorously judged by a panel of experts, everything from "are both bulbs in the license plate lamp working?" to "Notice that the plug wires are routed as they were in 1950."
And the result? A REALLY NERVOUS Cretin!

This George Schrader (sp?) built Indy Roadster was constructed for the 1951 Indy 500 in his shop in Burbank. Independent front suspension, DISC BRAKES! aluminum frame rails w/cast magnesium cross members. It ran at Indy through about 1955, and finished as high as 5th. For video of the Offy running go to:
